Yesterday, the kids and I met up with some friends and spent the day at Great Escapes Camping & Cabins Branson! Oh my goodness, did we have a blast! I knew this campground existed, but I had no idea it was literally its own resort and vacation destination!!

We did all the things! Wibit obstacle course, 2 pools, foam slip and slide, playground, giant bounce pillow, and just drove around the grounds in a golf cart to unwind.

A DAY PASS to do all this is just $15 per person!! (Golf cart is extra) Definitely add this place to your list of must do in Branson! Also, If you like tent camping, own your own RV or prefer luxury glamping or cabins, they have the perfect site for you! 🏕️

Side note: Literally the cleanest grounds and restrooms I’ve ever seen! And the restrooms were air-conditioned! 😉

It was a crazy weekend for our family and we had a lot going on, so we honestly forgot to make an official Anniversary post! Several of our followers have messaged or commented asking for some old pics of us as a couple… so here ya go! An official Happy 29th wedding Anniversary post! We were married in North Miami, Ok on Saturday, July 26th, 1997! I truly could not have picked a better person to be on this adventure with! ❤️ -Shera

Tonight we visited the Queens Gate on Route 66 in Springfield, MO. Such a cool place and all lit up at night! It’s right at beginning of the new Route 66 Musical Road. Go check it out!

We were traveling Route 66 today (back to our hometown of Miami, OK) and had breakfast at Main Street Cafe Route 66. What a gem this place is! Even though it’s in our hometown, we had never been here before. The food was great and we left so full! We all had Sweet Cream Pancakes, and I added some Biscuits and Gravy with mine! Everything we had was top notch. If you are traveling Route 66 this year (or just headed to Branson from Oklahoma) stop in Miami and give this place a try!

I would like to wish Shera a very Happy Anniversary! We had a wonderful dinner at the Ozark Mill this evening. It was our 29th anniversary dinner together. Here’s to many more!
