A simple circuits/animation activity for grade 3+! Kids can make their own moving characters and learn the science behind animation. (Did you know the Build-a-Bot singles are under $5 per engineer?)
Make a stopmotion animation that helps your younger students understand the science behind it. This paper-craft circuits activity can be completed in one class period! We 3D printed a holder for the mini motors to stabilze the structure but there was still a bit of wobbling. Stay tuned as we ask our 5th grade teams to optimize the stand! If you're interested in learning more about circuits with k-5 groups, join our fall STEM Bites mini series (leave comment for link)

This is what learning should feel like. đ
Joyful. Creative. Hands-on. A little messy. And filled with those moments when kids are so engaged, they donât even realize how much theyâre learning.
When learners have the freedom to imagine, build, test, and make something uniquely their own, curiosity takes over, and the learning follows.
What brings out this kind of joy in your learners?
Learning circuits is so much more fun with the 3Dux "Lil' Duck" Check out our Build-a-Bot kits for the whole class! https://www.3duxdesign.com/products/gobox-build-a-bots
These little bots are so much fun your little engineers won't realize they're learning about 3 different forces
This is a perfect example of intentional tech integration. - 3Dux Style isnât just adding a digital layer for the sake of using technology; it gives students a fun, low-pressure way to practice communication, organize their ideas, and think about how to clearly share a message with an audience.
