She takes care of people’s skin. But her wisdom goes much deeper. 🤍
Meet Jackie — an aesthetician whose poise, warmth, and energy are as beautiful as the work she does.
I asked what she’d tell her younger self. Her answer stopped me — it’s something so many of us need reminding of.
And when I asked what she’s grateful for, the whole conversation got sweeter.
Welcome to the LetSoul Life Series 💛 Jacqueline 💌
My SIL Cheryl Messner Kanouse caught this after dinner. I didn’t know until later.
I am certain you have one like it — a moment photographed while you weren’t paying attention, just being happy.
It’ll blur by next week if nothing holds it. When I write these down, I notice how many there actually are. And that’s the part no one tells you: noticing the good trains you to see more of it.
The good moments aren’t rare. You’re just not catching them. Start catching them — the journal’s linked.
What’s one from this week you’d keep?
I once told a crying woman to take a few deep breaths. She did. It didn’t help. I understand now that I gave her the right tool and the wrong instruction.
That’s true for almost everything you’ve been told about calming your nervous system. Breathing, journaling, walking — the advice is directionally right and specifically wrong. One small detail decides whether it works or does nothing, and it’s the detail nobody includes.
Miss it, and you’re doing the shape of the practice while wondering why nothing shifts.
Four in the reel, ranked, with the detail each one actually requires.
14 women. 14 stories. One bold choice.
I was honored to be part of an intimate evening celebrating 14 women who chose to do something incredibly brave: share their stories.
In October, I’ll have the privilege of taking this stage as a presenter at the Empowered Moms Conference. Until then, I’ll leave you with this:
The most powerful story is yours. Own it. Write it. Live it. With gratitude. 💛
An order came in last night from a woman buying this for her sister.
Her sister is the one everyone leans on — the one who remembers the birthdays, drives the carpools, checks on their mother, and hasn’t had a quiet minute to herself in months.
She doesn’t need another candle. She needs somewhere to set it all down.
That’s who this was made for.
If a specific woman came to mind while you read this — she’s the one you already know you’d send it to.
Who is she?
Some conversations just click.
I sat down with Lauren Ashley Richeson Lauren Richeson—a self-love and mindset coach, author, and writing consultant—and within minutes it felt like we’d known each other for years.
I asked her two questions:
✨ What lesson would you share with your younger self?
✨ What’s one thing you’re most grateful for?
Her answers reminded me that the most powerful wisdom is often the simplest.
Watch until the end, then tell me: Which question made you stop and think?
Loved every minute of this conversation. Welcome to the LetSoul Life series, Lauren Ashley Richeson. 💛
When women gather in spaces where they feel emotionally safe, something remarkable happens.
Stories are shared.
Shoulders relax.
Someone realizes they’re not the only one.
Research continues to show that meaningful social connection helps regulate the nervous system, lowers stress, and increases resilience.
Last night reminded me that sometimes healing doesn’t begin with having all the answers.
Sometimes it begins with someone brave enough to say,
“This is my story.”
Thank you to everyone who shared theirs. 🤍

If life really is measured in summers, I don’t want to rush through mine.
That’s one reason I journal. Attention is the filter your brain uses to decide what becomes memory. 💛
Journaling forces the pause — long enough to actually notice the morning I’m in, not just move through it.
We don’t get a say in how many summers. We get a say in how much we’re there for them. 💛
Share this with a friend who needs this reminder.
A woman told me last week she thinks she’s dysregulated. I asked her what that meant. She said she wasn’t sure — she’d just heard it enough times to assume it applied to her.
That’s most of us right now.
The word is everywhere. The definition is nowhere. So women measure themselves against the only thing they can name — do I feel calm — and conclude something is wrong with them.
Calm is not the marker. It was never the marker.
There’s one question that tells you where your nervous system actually is, and you can answer it today.
It’s in the reel.
Gratitude journaling works on exactly this.
This is what peace actually looks like. Not a retreat. A balcony and ten minutes.
Gratitude journaling never needed more than this.
Thank you for sharing yours. 💛 Milica Antic
