Meet adorable little "Chunk"! 🐾💙 He’s a wonderful puppy who is practically housebroken, sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, and loves being around other pets, but also loves getting all the attention to himself.

He’s a total cuddlebug who loves to be held, snuggled, and showered with affection. And if you happen to have treats nearby, you’ll quickly become his best friend! 😍 When he’s not playing or enjoying company, he’s perfectly happy curling up for a cozy nap. This sweet boy is off to a fantastic start and would make a loving, easygoing addition to the right family. 🏡❤️

We had such a great time at Hartman’s Distilling Co. on Saturday! Lauren, a former adopter, put together a super fun cocktail making class that our fosters got to participate in and raised some funds to help the rescue dogs. There was even a dog-friendly mocktail made to share with our pups!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to spend time with the dogs, donated, chatted with us about what we do, took a business card, etc. We met so many wonderful new people and we hope you'll continue to follow along on our journey of helping the pups who need it the most! 🐶🌹

Despite some successful events and fundraising efforts lately, we're still drowning in vet bills and struggling to catch up. We spent just shy of $2,000 yesterday spread out between 3 different vets, and adoptions are still slow going. My name is Lillie, but I also go by Lillie Bug, Ladybug, Buggy, and Tiny Dog. I’ve been with my foster family for a little over a week after being saved from euthanasia at a southern shelter. They tell me I’m a good lap dog and the BEST snuggler. My favorite toy is my highland cow stuffy. I'm a sweet, meek girl waiting for a forever family of my very own!

Our sweet girl Willadean had a meet and greet on Thursday and we thought she did great - but unfortunately she got ghosted 😭 THIS is why we don't stray from our usual adoption process. A brief meet and greet to make sure you feel comfortable moving forward with your dog of choice, and then a 1 week trial period where you get to know the dog better in your own home. We very rarely have the dogs returned at the end of this period, as adopters fall more and more in love as they see them become the perfect fit!

But now this girl has been ready for adoption for a week, not posted since she was on hold for a meet, and then sitting in limbo for 3 days waiting for a decision on whether or not someone wants to welcome her home... and we're praying she didn't miss out on her shot at a forever family during that time 😔 Please share her post to see if we can still help her find her people 💞

Our Pomsky's have officially arrived! There was a little mix-up on gender so we wanted to re-introduce them.

Darwin, the blue merle/white pup, is a 1 year old male weighing around 15lbs.
Darby, the black/tri-colored pup, is a 1 year old female weighing around 10lbs.

Both are dog friendly, cats unknown, very sweet with people. Due to their transport being very last minute, we're still considering foster to adopt homes for them. The foster portion acts as a trial period, during which time they would see our vet. If they're the perfect fit you can adopt after a week, or continue to foster until their forever families are found 🥰

This sweet boy was rescued from a crowded shelter along with his 3 sisters and they are loving their new lives! He's settled in with one of our incredible puppy fosters and is thriving. They love to play, are super smart, and we know they'll bring smiles to their new families faces!

Brody joined our rescue from a shelter in TN last month and is settling into his foster home more and more each day! He's a fun, energetic little guy who enjoys hunting for squirrels and bugs in the yard and is now on the hunt for his forever family! He is also seeking a new foster home if that forever family doesn't come sooner.

We are accidentally becoming a Pomeranian rescue, apparently 🤣 We have 2 dogs entering the rescue this week searching for foster to adopt homes (you foster for a week and have first dibs on an adoption if it goes well, or continue to foster if you're not feeling like it's the perfect fit)

💙 # 2 - 1 year old male Pomsky, tri color

Both dogs are between 10-15lbs and dog friendly, cats unknown but we wouldn't anticipate an issue. This is all we know about them. They were originally puppy mill dogs, but have been living in a home getting acclimated.
