What an experience for our BOSS Business students!

We had the opportunity to visit the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship and attend the Learning From Experience conversation featuring Roger Goodell, Commissioner of the NFL. And as if that wasn’t enough, we also had the chance to meet Keegan-Michael Key , actor and comedian! 😃

I keep telling my students: never underestimate the power of networking.

Education doesn’t only happen inside a classroom. Sometimes the lesson is being in the room, introducing yourself, shaking someone’s hand, asking a good question, and seeing firsthand where preparation, relationships, and opportunity can take you.

My goal with BOSS has always been bigger than teaching students about business; I want them to experience business, meet people they may have only seen on television, expand their network, and realize that they belong in these rooms too.

It's More Than School Supplies ✏️❤️

A backpack is great—but our kids need more than pencils and paper to succeed.

That’s why our Back-to-School Cuts Community & Success Celebration is focused on supporting the whole child AND the whole family.

Along with back-to-school resources, families will be able to connect with information and services including:

🏠 Housing
💼 Employment
👨‍👩‍👧 Foster Care & Adoption
🧒 Youth Programs
👵 Senior Programs
❤️ Preventive Services
🧠 Mental Health Awareness & Counseling Resources
🗳️ Voter Registration
✂️ Haircut Vouchers
…and more!

Come for the fun. Leave connected to resources that could make a difference long after September 5th.
