Did you know some Medicare Advantage plans can reduce your Part B premium in 2026? The standard Part B premium this year is $202.90/month. Certain MA plans offer what's called a Part B giveback -- the plan uses part of its funding to lower what you pay toward that premium. If a plan offers a $50/month reduction, you'd be looking at roughly $152.90 instead of $202.90. That's real money, especially on a fixed income. Here's the thing though -- the plan with the biggest giveback isn't always the best fit. Before you choose, you also want to look at: - Are your doctors in network? - Are your prescriptions covered? - What are the copays and max out-of-pocket? - Do the extra benefits (dental, vision, hearing) match what you actually need? It's the whole package that matters, not just the headline number. We help our clients compare it all -- network, drug coverage, costs, and giveback amounts. Medicare Part B premium is $202.90 in 2026. Some MA plans can reduce that. But a bigger giveback doesn't always mean a better plan. We help you compare the whole picture. Call Haley at 682-551-1221.

Game changer alert for my self-employed and freelancer friends! 📣
If you’ve been looking for a way to make your healthcare budget work harder for you, the 2026 update to HSA rules is a massive win. You can now use your HSA funds to pay for Direct Primary Care (DPC) memberships.
If you haven’t looked into DPC yet, it’s a membership-based model (usually around $150/mo for an individual) that gives you direct access to your doctor without all the traditional insurance hurdles. Before 2026, using HSA funds for this was a bit of a grey area. Now, it’s officially a “tax hack” for anyone managing their own coverage.
Me and my team are seeing more people combine a high-deductible health plan with a DPC membership. This setup covers the big, unexpected things with insurance while using pre-tax HSA dollars for your day-to-day doctor visits. It’s a smart way to keep your costs predictable and your care accessible.
If you’re curious about how this could work for your situation or if you’re looking for a better way to navigate your options, reach out. We’re here to help you find the right fit with all the major carriers.

Thinking about health insurance? Most people head straight to the Marketplace, but it isn’t the only option out there. With recent subsidy changes, the plan you’ve always used might not be the most cost-effective choice anymore.
Our team at DFW Health Coverage specializes in looking beyond the exchange. For many small business owners, self-employed individuals, and families, off-marketplace plans can often offer more robust networks and better flexibility.
Because we’re appointed by all major carriers, we aren’t limited to one system. We take the time to compare every available plan: both on and off the exchange: to find what actually fits your needs and your budget. You don’t have to navigate these insurance shifts alone.
Let us help you explore the full picture and find the coverage that works for you.

Two popular alternatives we can look at:

AEP for Medicare is here! With the CMS final rule, all drugs will be capped for seniors at $2,000 per year, and the donut hole will also be removed.
To counter the costs to the insurance companies, significant changes to people's Medicare plans for 2025 are expected. Premiums will increase, benefits may be removed or their prices raised, and many plans will be pulling out of counties altogether. If your plan is no longer available in the county and you do not choose in time, a plan will be chosen for you, and you will need to keep it through 2026.
This is the biggest shift in Medicare plans we have seen in over a decade. It is extremely important that all Medicare recipients view their plan options during the Annual Election period (October 15th through December 8th).
Having a knowledgeable broker to help navigate this is imperative.
