New Faces. New Perspectives. Same Davis Farr 💙

We're excited to welcome Adrienne Francisco to our Carlsbad office and Viola Elkes, CPA to our Irvine office as our newest Staff Auditors!

Every career journey is unique, and we're proud to have two professionals joining our team with different experiences, fresh perspectives, and a shared passion for learning and growth.

Adrienne is a graduate of the University of Guam with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and is looking forward to earning his CPA license next year. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, traveling to Japan, watching the UFC and NBA, and spending time with family and friends.

Viola joins Davis Farr with more than 10 years of experience in financial reporting and an active California CPA license. As she begins this new chapter in auditing, she looks forward to continuing her professional growth. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.

We're excited to have Adrienne and Viola as part of the Davis Farr team and can't wait to see all they'll accomplish.

C-Suite Stories: Jeff Ball, Partner 🎸

Meet Jeff Ball, Partner and leader of our Tacoma, Washington office. In this edition of C-Suite Stories, Jeff shares his perspective on building lasting client relationships, finding meaning in the work, and one unexpected chapter from his high school years.

1️⃣ What do you believe is the foundation of a lasting client relationship?
Communication. In the audit world, it is crucial to ensuring a positive relationship. Regularly scheduled meetings and even impromptu calls establish more than just timelines and pending items, they are opportunities for both auditors and clients to genuinely get to know one another as people.

2️⃣ What advice would you give to someone just beginning their career in public accounting?
The work is the work - people make it worth doing. You chose a career in accounting, so its likely you are not in for the high-octane day-to-day life as a travel influencer. What makes my job worth it is showing up each day to find happy, supportive, like-minded colleagues working together toward shared goals.

3️⃣ What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?
In high school I played guitar/bass in a mock-emo band named, Tuesday's November 🎸

Different experiences shape different perspectives. We're grateful to have Jeff's experience, humor, and people-first approach as part of Davis Farr's leadership.
