Mod Paint Works

We just wrapped up this kitchen cabinet update. From early-2000’s-golden oak, to pure white timelessness. All completed with Fine Paints of Europe ECO satin waterborne enamel.

Oak is more involved than hardwoods, such as maple or cherry. The deep, open grain of oak provides an extra challenge when painting. Multiple coats of Fine Paints of Europe oil-based primer were applied to seal the deep grain and pores. Then sanded back to smooth.

Then the fun part: spraying two coats of ECO satin enamel with a light sand between coats. An overnight dry allows us to come in and reinstall next day.

This finish will provide year after year of beauty and service.
