𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀…

Let’s talk about the name.

When I realized the norm in home fragrance was to spend more on packaging and marketing than the actual 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 inside - the part we smell, live with, and breathe in… I thought, f*ck that.

So I taught myself natural perfumery.

I didn’t want to be limited by what the big fragrance houses wanted to sell. I wanted to understand the materials themselves.

What I quickly learned was that sourcing exceptional natural oils, extracts, isolates, and biomolecules would be the real challenge. Which was kind of perfect.

I’ve always been drawn to the harder path. It’s often where the most interesting things are found.

Over the years, these materials have taught me their character, their soul, their nuance. 🌱

I’ve followed many of them back to their source: fields, forests, distilleries, laboratories, and workshops. Always a real place. Real people. A culture that values the ingredient. A process dedicated to capturing something beautiful and fleeting.

Eventually, it became obvious what mattered most.

Not the vessel.

Not the marketing.

The 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.
