Meet Rachel, the incredibly talented Pastry Chef working behind the scenes on your favorite scratch-made items.

As the Head of Pastry at Second State, Rachel manages a stellar team that drives the creation and production of our syrups, chai, granola bars, muffins, cookies, scones, bread loaves, laminated pastry, and more.

We are so lucky to have her on the team. If not for her talents and hard work, for all the joy and kindness she brings into every space🥺

We roasted our last few batches of Sebastian's Washed Pink Bourbon. That means if you see a bag in stores, you should grab it.

Not ready to restock your supply? We know many of you worry about over-stocking and using coffee quick enough, but this is a coffee varietal that does exceptionally well with extended resting time. It continues to open up in complexity over several weeks off roast, giving you plenty of time to move through any current stock of coffee. Don't miss your opportunity to try this incredible bean before it's gone!

Leaving soon - Ethiopia Sakaro! Remember coffee is a fruit. When you buy fresh, once you enjoy all the fruit from a particular harvest or season, you may have to wait until the next harvest season to enjoy that farm or cooperative's fruit again.
