Elevate your next conference with a volunteer activity!

We had a blast at the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) conference in September! As a part of their programming, attendees took a break to help us pack STEAMKits for students in Charlotte. It was an energetic and fun way to kick off a day of learning, connecting and growing for these folks!

STEAMLab is officially back as of this week!

We are so excited for another year of STEAMLab, our free after school STEAM offering for students in CMS. We're proud to be in over 35 schools this year working with incredible teachers and educators to get kids excited about STEAM concepts.

You can help us grow our STEAMLab so we can expand to even more schools as the need for quality, age-appropriate science, technology, engineering, arts and math education grows. Head to our website to learn about volunteer opportunities and donation needs to support our mission!

We recently hosted our STEAM Spark Summit, our annual educational experience for Charlotte Mecklenburg teachers and educators who host STEAMLab at their schools!

Supporting students and getting them excited about STEAM is our number one goal, but we can't do that without first supporting the incredible teachers who run our STEAMLabs at our partner schools. Each year we invite our STEAMLab leaders to learn with us, ask questions, and get resources for their school. It's also worth noting that all STEAMLab facilitators are paid for their time through Digi-Bridge.

When you support Digi-Bridge, you're not only supporting students - you're supporting our local educators as well!

As we kick off a new year of STEAMLab in Charlotte, we take time to look at the statistics and numbers from the previous year to track our growth and find areas for improvement. We want to do the best we can for our students and school and community partners, and this is one of the ways we do it!

We're proud of all of these numbers, but we think students wanting to return to Digi-Bridge year-over-year is the biggest success metric of all! When students show up and then keep showing up, we know we're doing something right.

We can't wait to see what this year brings!

We've been trying out some new things this summer... like remote STEAMKit builds!

Over the past few weeks we've partnered with Honeywell to host a remote STEAMKit build opportuny.

We sent kits to 25 different Honeywell locations across the U.S. so they could host STEAMKit builds at their satellite offices. Those STEAMKits will then be distributed to schools near each of those satellite offices, allowing them to make a difference in their immediate communities!

We love working with companies to help them make an impact in a way that aligns with their work and mission!
