Thereās a quiet, heavy pain in praying small. Whether itās shrinking your desires, lowering your expectations, or only asking for just enough to survive the storm because wanting more feels too out of sync or bigger than you could dare to believe.
Trauma and survival mode teach us to make ourselves invisible and as a Trauma Recovery Coach, I see this happen often in the clients I serve. I also can relate due to my own personal experience of having to walk down that path myself.
As you continue to persevere and refuse to give up, healing will slowly begin to open those clenched fists and remind you that you are not alive to simply survive.
YOU ARE WORTHY of having the desires of your heart. I know the world is a scary place right now, but donāt worry because none of this has caught God by surprise. Donāt stop praying and believing. Your latter shall indeed be greater!šŖš¾š±

Too often, we wait for the world to validate who we are, forgetting that our identity and worth have already been established by God. You are worthy. You are enough. You are more than a conqueror. This week, remind yourself of who you are and whose you are.š±
Another part of the healing journey we donāt talk about enough is discovering what genuinely makes YOU happy. Not what keeps everyone else comfortable, but what fills YOU with joy, peace and a renewed sense of aliveness. Healing also means giving yourself permission to discover who you are beyond survival.š

Stop waiting for permission to live your life. I know the heavy, exhausting weight of feeling like you must have it all together before you step into your purpose, but waiting to be fully healed is just a trap keeping your identity on hold.
Your life is happening right now, in all its messy, beautiful truth. You donāt need a finish line to choose yourself and you certainly donāt have to pause your joy while youāre putting the pieces back together.
Look right at the fear thatās keeping you on the sidelines and walk right through it anyway. Take that brave step today and give yourself absolute permission to live, breathe and thrive while you heal.š±

This weekās podcast episode hit different and Iām keeping it all the way real about the journey back to YOU. If you havenāt been feeling like yourself lately, I can relate and was recently there myself.
I created this podcast in 2021 in the middle of a worldwide pandemic where many of us were forced to remove the mask. Thatās exactly what Healing Conversations is: a real talk platform for women.
Also, with so much going on in the world today, I decided to bring the podcast back weekly and include FREE worksheets with EVERY episode.
This is excellent for individuals who may currently be in therapy or working with a coach but still need a little extra to hold you over between sessions.
I can relate to that too and I got you. At some point in life we all are greeted with the opportunity to š performing and get REAL.
This weekās conversation is an invitation to explore emotional exhaustion, survival mode, self-abandonment, boundaries, grief, self-trust and reconnecting with yourself after a heavy season.

I know how terrifying it is to be vulnerable, so you keep your guard up. But that defense system is actively destroying the connection you desperately desire.
When you speak from unhealed wounds instead of honesty, you turn conversations into emotional explosions.
You canāt demand to be heard when your own words are poisoned by old pain. There comes a point and time where you must choose to remove the armor and get honest with yourself first.
Your relationship is a mirror reflecting what you havenāt yet healed, not a battleground.
Own your mess, put down the defensiveness and learn how to truly speak your truth.š±
