Tennessee Dachshund Rescue

YOU ASKED, WE LISTENED!

We know plenty of you LOVE our TDR plate but don’t want to give up the specialty plate you already have, whether it’s an Emergency, Firefighter, Veteran, Dolly’s Imagination Library, or another plate that means something special to you. And then there are our TDR friends outside Tennessee who just really, really love the design!

Well, now you can have one too!

Our original TDR license plate design is now available as a NOVELTY PLATE!

If you live in Tennessee or another state that only requires a rear plate, you can proudly display it on the front of your vehicle. And, if not, you can hang it somewhere it can get the attention it deserves. Your home, game room, garage, she shed, man cave, wherever your dachshund loving heart desires!

Because apparently “I ❤️ TDR” deserves to be displayed everywhere.

And the best part? You’ll get a plate you love while helping dachshunds in need and supporting TDR’s mission to continue saving lives, one little we**ie at a time!

You can find these plates, along with a whole lot more TDR merch, in our online store! Link in comments 👇

We have some happy adoption news to share!

Six sweet pups found their forever homes at Dachtoberfest! Little Baby and Trucker went home together, while Ziggy, Izzy, Fabio and Louie each found loving families of their own.

And there’s even more good news! Max, Obi, Bear, Primrose (not pictured) and bonded pair Peanut and Squirrel (not pictured)were also adopted over the past few weeks. We’re so happy for each of them as they settle into their forever homes.

A huge thank you to our amazing fosters for giving these pups the love, patience and support they needed to get ready for their next chapters, and to all of our adopters who opened their hearts and homes.

Happy tails to all 12 pups!

🐾💕 Meet 11 year old Rosie — our newest foster girl! 💕

Rosie just arrived, and she’s already showing us what a sweet little soul she is. Her story is a tender one. She came from a very loving home, but sadly, her human gained their wings. 🌈 She also previously shared her life with her Dachshund sibling, Tucker, and kitty friend, Daisy, who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge as well.

Now Rosie is starting a brand-new chapter. 💗

So far, we’ve learned that she LOVES car rides 🚗, is definitely a snuggler, handled her bath like a champ, and has officially transformed into a fluffy little nugget. 😂 She’s also been hanging out with dogs much bigger than her and hasn’t had any issues so far.

It’s only Day One, so we’re still getting to know this sweet girl. For now, Rosie gets to decompress, snuggle, and learn that she’s safe and loved while we figure out exactly what her perfect forever home looks like. 🏡💕

Follow along — I have a feeling Rosie’s next chapter is going to be a good one. 💕

Rescue takes a village. What many of you don’t see, behind the scenes countless volunteers working to move dogs across states to get them to safety.

This year we recognized one of those volunteers for the countless flight hours put in to move our weens between Missouri and Tennessee.

Who knew that just after Dachtoberfest, we’d be calling on his help again.

Special thanks goes to the Ellis’s for their countless hours of support. We couldn’t do this without you.

Missed out on that good swag at Dachtoberfest!?
