Enduring Spaces

I was honored to attend the ceremonial signing of the Manufactured Homes Legalization Bill with Governor Abigail Spanberger at Cavco in Rocky Mount, Virginia.

This legislation represents an important step toward expanding housing opportunities and increasing access to affordable homeownership across Virginia. Manufactured housing plays a critical role in addressing our housing challenges, and we are excited to see policies that support attainable housing solutions for individuals and families.

In addition to the bill signing, we had the opportunity to tour the Cavco manufacturing facility and gain firsthand insight into the innovative processes and craftsmanship involved in creating quality manufactured homes. It was inspiring to see how these homes are built and the important role they play in addressing housing needs across the Commonwealth.

At Enduring Spaces, we believe everyone deserves access to safe, stable, and sustainable housing. We are grateful to the advocates, legislators, industry leaders, and community partners whose efforts helped make this milestone possible.

Together, we are creating pathways to housing stability and building stronger communities for future generations.

Today, our Executive Committee held its first strategic planning session, led by Danielle Taylor and Berry Maser of Strategic Disruption—and the energy in the room was incredible.

We’re taking intentional steps to grow, innovate, and expand our impact so that more individuals have access to safe, stable, and supportive housing.

This is just the start of an exciting new chapter. Stay tuned!
