Our central mission revolves around the empowerment of students by providing essential resources and support mechanisms that cater to their holistic development. Our overarching goal is to ensure that every student, regardless of their socioeconomic status, has equal access to quality education. As we work tirelessly towards obtaining our 501(c)(3) IRS exemption, each step brings us closer to making quality education accessible for every student, no matter their background. Our journey begins in helping underfunded areas in Central American Schools. With your support, this ripple of hope will broaden its reach, crossing borders and spreading far and wide.

We’re getting ready to launch the Hope Across Borders Christmas Angel Tree, supporting children and families in local communities throughout Guanacaste. 💛
If you’re coming to Guanacaste and have a little extra room in your suitcase, we’d love to help you fill it with a little Christmas magic. 🎁✨
We’re collecting new gifts that are educational, creative, and still fun and exciting for children to receive — things like:
🎨 Art & craft supplies
📚 Spanish-language books
🧩 Puzzles & educational games
🧱 Building sets
🔬 Science & STEM kits
🎵 Musical & creative activities
⚽ Sports & recreation items

That's why Hope Across Borders collaborates with the Guanacaste Children's Community Center. Together, we create meaningful opportunities for traveling families, visitors, and volunteers to give back to the local community while they're here.
Whether it's supporting children's programming, donating supplies, volunteering your time, or helping fund community initiatives, your visit can become part of something that continues long after your trip ends.

One act of generosity can create opportunities that last far beyond a single journey. 💛🌎
Recently, a traveling family visiting Costa Rica donated sports and recreation equipment to the Guanacaste Children's Community Center - Worldschooling Education Hub in Huacas, Costa Rica.
Because of their generosity, these resources will create opportunities for local and traveling children to play, connect, build friendships, and learn together through our community programs and community events.
At Hope Across Borders, we believe meaningful travel is about more than discovering new places.
It's about building relationships, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities that continue long after the trip has ended.
To this incredible family, thank you for reminding us that even a single act of generosity can create a lasting ripple effect.

🌎🤝 Community Service in Action 🤝🌎
We had the privilege of welcoming 27 students from to Costa Rica, who chose to dedicate part of their travels to meaningful, hands-on community service. 💛
The day brought together multiple communities and initiatives:
🌊 A beach clean-up in Tamarindo with
🎨 Time spent at the El Faro Feeding Center in El Llanito supporting with painting, upkeep, and preparing lunch
🌿 And continued efforts at — gardening, woodworking, and caring for shared spaces
Experiences like this show how education, community, and collaboration can come together to create meaningful impact.
We are especially grateful for the group’s generous donation, helping continue to support community initiatives and expand access to education and recreation. 🌎
Grateful for the collaboration between the CREO students, Clean Wave Asociación, El Faro Feeding Center, and GCCC in making this day possible.
