Stay safe, I can't seem to accomplish it.

Does this look ridiculous?
I should start by saying this my first time installing moulding. I didn’t want to just stop the boxes’ frame at the outlet plates so I did this. I also couldn’t drop the bottom of the boxes below the plates because the other walls have baseboard radiators and I wanted all the boxes to be the same dimensions and any lower and the framing would sit on those radiators. I’ll be painting of course. Planning on painting the wall and moulding white with a different color above the chair rail unless anyone has a different suggestion? Thanks!

My door trim is ALWAYS 1/8 inch off at the top. Why?
Why is this always an issue? It’s consistent. It’s 30” wide. Dead to rights. Once it’s put next to the sides it looks off.

Dad came and helped with baseboard install. Is this acceptable?
I knew baseboards were going to be tricky due to my uneven floors and walls but my dad decided to take the initiative to install them all while I was at work.

He is visiting from out of town and really wanted to help the renovation move along. This corner is one of the better corners but I was a little peeved he didn't take more time to get the angles right.

Would this be acceptable to fill and sand smooth? There are definitely some that are completely butchered but I'm just trying to find out what we can get away with leaving as is.

First picture is one of the better corners, second picture is how most the rest look.

I'm a carpenter who is having tile done in my home. I'm not crazy to tell them that this work is unacceptable right? They are asking for final payment already...

Disheartening Saturday job
Just got finished laying this Guarpe deck. Handrail guys came in to set the rails. Showed up yesterday and found surface damage allover the deck. Spent 6 hours sanding to fix. Came back this morning to finish and found it all damaged again, lol. Now I'll sanding this deck all day. Hope your Saturdays are going better!

Genuine wondering what is the next steps when something happens like this.

Is this something that is going to need to be a complete tear down or do they really think they can stop this from what seems like an inevitable collapse.

Hey, so I was at this house this morning and they have a pretty neat solution for a hidden door for basement access. What I really liked is how simple it is.

What do you call this in English?

Yall ever seen framing like this?
My buddy had me come help him rough in some electrical at his house. I dont think this is correct. But they swear it is and thinks it looks good. Our boxes stick out past the framing since the studs are side ways. They threatened to kick my buddy off the job if any of his crew mention the framing again 😂
