These Bingo Boards are a game changer. Parents love them. Kids love them because they get a choice in how and what they read. I let them choose something from the treasure box if they get a bingo.

This has been a favorite among teachers for YEARS!! Great name practice and fine motor skills and doubles as an adorable bulletin board.

The first week's of school is about establishing expectations. September is for gamifying my management to keep everyone invested and motivated to be productive, positive learners.

My own kids LOVE these! There are all kinds of manipulatives to use and it is just FUN!

Here is the reality... books will get damaged when they are living in an elementary school. Our students are still learning responsibility, self control and ways to care for our supplies.

While this is not the ONLY way to manage books, it is a helpful way to ensure those in circulation are high quality. It also promotes accountability and ownership to students.

Think: If everyone is using the books, everyone should help care for the books.

As a lifelong reader, teacher and mom, I consider books to be an important part of the human experience. Let's all work together to take care of them.
