🚨 Three-time U.S. Olympian David Hearn has been indicted on a felony charge after prosecutors alleged he damaged the newly renovated Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
According to prosecutors, Hearn intentionally damaged a section of the pool’s new liner, resulting in more than $1,000 in repair costs. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
Hearn’s attorneys dispute the allegations, saying he only touched a portion of the liner that was already detached and arguing the case unfairly criminalizes ordinary conduct.
The case has gained national attention after President Trump referenced vandalism while discussing issues with the $14.7 million renovation.
