First year running track, and what a way to finish! 💪🏽🏃🏽‍♀️

Last track meet of the summer, and Zurie finished stronger than she started.

🥇 100m: Started the season at 14.97 — finished with a 14.62 and 1st Place.

🥇 200m: Started at 32.48 — finished with a 30.97 and 1st Place.

🥉 Shot Put: 4.6m — 3rd Place.

🥈 4x100 Relay: Ran against the 11–12-year-old division and still finished 2nd Place with a time of 1:05.11.

For this to be her first year in track, I couldn’t be prouder. It was never just about winning—it was about improving every meet, trusting the process, and finishing the season better than she started. That’s what growth looks like…!

Big shoutout to Eastend Lightning 👏🏽

The coaches and the entire program are phenomenal. Thank y’all for everything you’ve done this season and for creating an environment where these kids can grow, compete, and build confidence.

See y’all in a few months for indoor season! 🏃🏽‍♀️💨❤️

The work always pays off. ❤️🙏🏽

This 15U team is the best team I’ve ever coached and one of the most talented groups I’ve ever been around. So much raw talent, but the best part was how coachable y’all were.

We fell short of our ultimate goal, but this summer was still full of accomplishments. Through all the ups and downs, every player grew individually, and our coaching staff continued to learn and understand the game on an even higher level.

I just want to thank all of the players and coaches for making me a better coach and a better person. Y’all made me fall even more in love with the game of basketball.

I appreciate every one of y’all, and I love y’all.
