My cover this week is my first attempt singing a song from the Swedish band Avatar. Their latest release in 2026, "Crying Fire", was so deliciously dramatic, soulful, and heart wrenching that I just had to sing it. Remember my covers are never intended to mimic the original singer Johannes Eckerström. I will sound differently with my operatic voice. Enjoy! My cover of Closer by Nine Inch Nails is a little out of my comfort zone as an opera singer, but I went for it any way! Remember I don't imitate the original artist, I sing in my own style voice! Enjoy!
