Join the premier international Torah and science contest! Walder Science Jerusalem Science Contest is for 11th & 12th-grade Jewish high school students, exploring cutting-edge science and its Judaic relevance. This year's focus: molecular biology, one of the most exciting sciences of our time! Explore DNA, cells, vaccines, and more. Calling all 9th and 10th-grade students! The Young Jewish Innovators Challenge starts October 11 with separate programs for young women and young men. The Women’s Program returns for its 5th year, and the Men’s Program is back! Participants will collaborate with industry scientists, solve real-world problems, and compete against talented peers from Chicago Jewish high schools for cash prizes and more. The boys’ division finalists of Walder Science’s 2025–2026 Jerusalem Science Contest completed their Israel experience, the culmination of months of intensive study and achievement in astronomy. 🇮🇱🔭

Participants spent eight days exploring the intersection of Torah, science, innovation, and community service. The students volunteered with Leket Israel, visited the Weizmann Institute’s astronomy research observatory, met with leading scientists, and experienced the beauty of the universe through a Negev stargazing program.

Congratulations to the finalists on this incredible achievement! 🌟 We look forward to the young women’s division trip this month as they embark on their own inspiring Israel experience.

The Jerusalem Science Contest challenges high school juniors and seniors to engage with advanced scientific topics through independent study, exams, and research. 🔬✨ Young scientists in action!

This spring, Walder Science and the ATT celebrated the inaugural Dr. Michael H. Salinger Z"ל Science Fair, where students from ATT-affiliated schools showcased original experiments, analyzed data, and presented their findings to judges.

From testing how different liquids affect tooth enamel to exploring how water temperature impacts yeast fermentation, students demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and a true passion for discovery.
