October 6th, 1992 Chicago’s own Common dropped his debut album Can I Borrow a Dollar?
Back when it was all about East Coast vs West Coast, Common was holding it down for the Midwest, showing the world how Chicago moves. His witty rhymes, soul-heavy beats, and that Chi-Town perspective put the city on the Hip-Hop map.
