September is Spinal Cord Injury awareness.

5.5 years now since Kyle’s accident. It’s not ideal, but he is still getting things done!

After sustaining severe injuries in an Alabama dirt bike accident, Kyle was given a 1% chance of walking again. However, after his accident and following intensive therapy at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, he walked out of our front doors. He continues to push himself every day — including getting back on the dirt bike! Join us in cheering on Kyle.

We have been doing a lot of tasks ranging from junk removal and deliveries to rearranging furniture and taking stuff to storage.

We are almost caught up and actually have a lot of availability tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday (9/12).

After the holiday weekend we are back in action with 5 crews out and about most days.

This time of year is good for making room in the garage and cleaning out excess clutter. With kids back in school, sports going on, and tons of chaos, we can help!

While we are thinking about it. And haven’t made a formal announcement.

Check out this mega project from the other day removing a bunch of concrete and loading it in the dumpster. 40,000lbs of material removed and hauled out. It was a big undertaking, but as we are known for doing, we took care of it!

We are looking for 2-3 more people to add to our team. The ideal candidate must be prompt, considerate, handy, fit, and a positive attitude.

As many of you know, we are doing a variety of tasks ranging from deliveries and junk removal to building gazebos, swing sets, and installing Christmas lights. Plus many things between.

While our current team is great, we are still looking to replace some of our seasonal staff plus continue to grow to add increased capacity.

We are looking for both part-time and full-time positions to be filled as we keep growing.

When we were asked for the opportunity to advertise on their menu board, we said sure!

As we get closer to the end of the month, it’s always a lot going on with moves, deliveries, and junking. Here are a few tips to help make things go as smooth as possible:

1. One tip to help with scheduling, please include the addresses. We often get the question “how much ….. picked up from my house”. Without know where your house is, it’s hard to know. Or “from my house to my friends house” without locations, it’s hard to give any kind of accurate quote.

2. Providing as many details as possible is another helpful way to get an accurate price. For example, a treadmill can range from 200lbs home use to 500lbs commercial units. Or a standard bed vs a full Pottery Barn loft bed. Are there steps involved? Does your condo have an elevator?

3. Please answer our calls when we are trying to contact you. When we are heading your way, we try to call with an updated eta. Having a call blocker or not answering because you don’t recognize the number is not helpful for keeping the workflow smooth throughout the day.
