Porterfield

Today marks one year of Kitsch Machine being out in the world!! Thank you for listening, we’ve been playing it out a lot these last 12 months and are very proud. We are working on new things so in the mean time here is us in the Chicago bean.

For those who don’t know us or haven’t seen us, one ritual we enjoy is taking the day of a show to write a haiku and sharing it with one another before going on.

So going forward, we wanted all of you involved too! We have created a free haiku library at our merch boothcalled “Take-A-Haiku, Leave-A-Haiku”.

The process is simple: Take a haiku from the cup, write one of your own, and put it in the cup. Feel free to read it to us too if you feel so inclined!

So far, it’s been an absolute joy meeting new people gathered around the haiku library, even making happy memories like the one in the second photo.
Thanks so much to for the inspiration for this idea. Come to one of our shows and enjoy this fun ritual!

We charted!!!

Thanks so much to all the radio stations who’ve put “Antigone & Me” into their rotations and a HUGE thank you to and everyone who tuned into WGBK to get us charted at #8 on the NACC TOP 30.

NYC people we got an update for you! Our show with on 9/17 is now at instead of Nublu 151. The place has changed but the tunes stay the same!

Come celebrate Aberdeen’s single release with us and help send us off on our tour!

What city are you catching us in?

Vinyl/record store appreciation post incoming!! 🎶🎶

Thanks to everyone who’s bought a Kitsch Machine Vinyl at one of our shows so far! Be sure to keep an eye out at one of our shows this September and get yours!

We also wanted to shout out in St Johnsbury, Vermont and in Columbus, Ohio for buying a couple from us. Keep record stores alive for all of us, but especially everyone in Porterfield. Nothing we like more in our downtime than rifling through crates…
