βI created these charms because I love trinkets, but wanted to add a personal touch to it. Since the point of decorating your bag with charms is to add a personal touch, there's nothing more personal than a handmade creation that represents the things that bring you joy. I love how the flexible brush tip lets me paint fine details in, and the colours turned out so opaque and vibrant.β -

βThe idea of painting this jacket came from wanting to dress in a way that felt more personal and expressive. I realized I had basic pieces in my closet that many other people probably have too, and I wanted to transform them into something more unique and connected to my artistic personality.
I love experimenting with different techniques and materials in my work, including oils, watercolor, colored pencils, paint markers, and muralism.
Using POSCA for this piece was a really enjoyable experience. I loved the versatility and vibrancy of the markers while building details and layers.
Lately, Iβve been exploring layered imagery and overlapping compositions as a way of expressing memories and emotional fragments inspired by places Iβve visited, especially moments from nature, colors, and architecture that stay in my mind over time.
For this piece, I was inspired by Strasbourg. I became fascinated with the cathedral there, although the one in the artwork is more of an imagined interpretation, as well as the trees and stork nests throughout the city, which left a huge impression on me.β
