Carla Denise

Pictures of this cool article came across my Facebook memories feed recently. If you’ve followed my journey over the years, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been called by several different names in articles, concert promotions, interviews, and online searches; Carla Outten, Carla Stinson, Carla Ramsey, Carla Denise Ramsey, and a few other variations.

I know it can be a little confusing.

Many of those names represent different chapters of my life, but as an artist, one thing I’ve learned is that branding matters. Your name is how people find you, remember you, and connect your performances, recordings, interviews, and media coverage.

At birth, I was named Carla Denise Outten, but I have one small favor to ask:

Please call me Carla Denise. 😊

That is my stage name, and it’s the name I’m continuing to build and establish in the music industry. Whether you’re introducing me from the stage, tagging me on social media, writing an article, or creating promotional materials, Carla Denise is the name I’d appreciate you using.

To everyone who has supported me through every chapter of my life, I thank you. Your encouragement means the world to me, and I appreciate your help in keeping my brand consistent as this journey continues.

See you at the next show!
