Cancerfighter

This amazing journey began March 2013. A challenge to do something outside my comfort zone. So the training began, and after walking over 100 miles in five days for two cancer events, and countless other shorter events and two half marathons, I have been inspired by the fight in these men and women that are battling cancer. As long as the enthusiasm can be translated into support and contributions, I'll continue to walk. When there is an important job to do, I wear the Firefighting turn outs, ending cancer is a very important job. Walking, laughing, crying, and sweating, I'll stay on the job until we crack the code and put an end to this bully we know as cancer. The schedule for 2022 includes 60 mike Komen benefit walks in New England, Chicago, Dallas, and SanDiego. Please see your Doctor and get screened if there is any history in your family, early detection is critical. I have been humbled by the energy, enthusiasm, and support that you all have channelled to me. Keep fighting, stay positive, and never ever give up. Join me, and be "in it to end it".
