π―π΅ SAVE this for your first trip to Tokyo! ππΌ
Tokyo can feel overwhelming to plan because thereβs SO much to see and one of the biggest mistakes is spending half your day traveling back and forth across the city.
So we put together our 5-day Tokyo itinerary by grouping places that actually make sense to visit together. π
π Day 1: Asakusa + Ginza
β©οΈ Senso-ji, Nakamise Street, kimono experience + Ginza at night
π Day 2: Harajuku + Shibuya
πΏ Meiji Jingu, Takesh*ta Street, Shibuya Crossing + sunset at Shibuya Sky
π Day 3: Tsukiji + Tokyo Tower + teamLab
π£ Start with a morning food crawl, explore Tokyo Tower viewpoints, then experience teamLab Planets
π Day 4: Shinjuku
π Shinjuku Gyoen, Kabukicho, Omoide Yokocho, Golden G*i + Tokyo after dark
π Day 5: Tokyo Station + Ginza
ποΈ Character Street, Marunouchi + last-minute shopping and souvenirs
A few things weβd do again:
β¨ Book Shibuya Sky around sunset
β¨ Visit Senso-ji early in the morning
β¨ Group neighborhoods together instead of chasing individual attractions
β¨ Leave extra time for train stations β some are HUGE
β¨ Keep a Suica/PASMO card on your phone
β¨ Wear comfortable shoes because 20K-step days happen very easily π
Tokyo is one of those cities where 5 days still wonβt feel like enough, but this gives you a really solid first trip without wasting your days commuting across the city.

POV: Trying to get the perfect photo at Shibuya Crossingβ¦ while hundreds of people have the exact same idea π
π Shibuya Scramble Crossing, Tokyo π―π΅
Known as one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world, this iconic Tokyo spot is a must-experience at least once. When the lights turn red for traffic, pedestrians cross from multiple directions at the same time and somehow, the chaos just works. π€―
Getting the photo may take more than one crossing π

Save this for your Antelope Canyon trip in Page, Arizona ποΈπ
If youβre deciding between Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon and Canyon X, donβt overlook Canyon X. Itβs a lesser-known option with incredible sandstone formations and typically fewer crowds.
A few helpful tips:
π Located near Page, Arizona
ποΈ A guided tour is required
β° Morning/midday tours generally give you brighter light inside the canyon
π Wear comfortable shoes & expect sandy and uneven terrain
π Check your tour operatorβs current bag and camera restrictions before arriving
π¦οΈ Tours can be canceled due to weather and flash-flood risk
We loved how different the canyon looked around every turn! Definitely one to consider for an Arizona road trip or Page, Arizona itinerary.
