Planning ahead?

We're now scheduling projects for Spring 2027.

If a custom home or major renovation is on your horizon, the best time to start the conversation is before you need to, not once you're ready to break ground. Early conversations mean more time for design, selections, and getting the details right.

Let's talk about what you're planning.

Changes are part of construction. Surprises shouldn't be.

A professionally managed project has a clear process for handling changes, how they're priced, approved, documented, and what they mean for the schedule.

The goal isn't to assume nothing will change. It's to make sure everyone knows exactly what happens when it does.

You could walk past this every day and never notice it. That’s the goal.
Great craftsmanship doesn’t ask for attention.

A clean joint, a consistent reveal, a detail that lines up exactly right - it just works, every time, for years, without anyone thinking twice about it.

Every great home starts with a conversation. Let’s have one.

Same house. Completely reimagined.

The goal of this renovation wasn't simply to make the home look newer. It was to make it work better.

Better light. Better flow. Better connection between spaces. Thoughtful decisions that changed not only how the home looks, but how it feels to live in every day.

That's the difference between updating a home and truly transforming one.

The work starts before construction does.

Before a crew ever arrives, we're already studying the plans, existing conditions, systems, materials, lead times and sequencing, looking for the details that could affect what comes next.

Fewer surprises. Better decisions. Greater budget clarity. A better-built project.

Great construction starts long before construction.

A beautiful home matters. But so does how you feel while it's being built.

Cristina's review meant a lot to us because she spoke about the things we work incredibly hard to get right, communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for our clients and their homes.

And yes, even their pets. 🤎

Thank you, Cristina, for trusting us with your home.

This is what we build toward.

Sometimes, the finished room gets to speak for itself.

Behind this kitchen are hundreds of decisions - layout, proportion, materials, lighting, craftsmanship, and all the little details that come together to make a space feel effortless when it's finished.

That's the part we love.

Beautiful finishes get the attention. But they're not where a beautiful renovation begins.

It begins with the decisions homeowners may never see: planning, coordination, sequencing, framing, mechanicals, waterproofing, preparation, and hundreds of details that have to come together before the finishes ever go in.

At New Explode Construction, we believe the quality you see at the end is built into the project from the beginning.

Beautiful finishes are the result. Not the start.

Meet Ioana. 🎂💛

Today happens to be her birthday, so it felt like the perfect day to introduce the woman behind New Explode Construction.

Wife. Mama. Visionary. Builder. Sister. Daughter. Friend. Godmother. CEO. Romanian soul in Chicago. 🇷🇴❤️🇺🇸

Ioana believes building a home is personal. Behind every drawing, selection, schedule and decision is a family trusting us with something that matters deeply to them.

That's why she stays involved from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. She asks the extra question. Notices the detail everyone else missed. Pushes when something can be better.

For Ioana, success isn't simply handing over a beautiful home. It's knowing that every decision helped turn someone's vision into a place where their life will unfold. ❤️

Today we celebrate the heart, determination, vision, very high standards 😂, and love she brings to everything she builds.

Happy Birthday, Ioana. 🥂

CEO is the title. Building is only part of the story.
