What the hell? How did I not know about Ethel Merman flying around on a magical giraffe for Christmas?

Ethel Merman singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is the mist “Ethel Merman-ee” thing you can imagine!!! — and what an amazing find this is. This comes from the closing credits of “Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July”, a 1979 Rankin/Bass stop-motion holiday special that brings together two of the studio’s most iconic characters — Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman — for an epic summertime Christmas adventure. And of course, Ethel Merman is her usual incredible self: bold, bright, and unmistakable. Her voice cuts through the orchestration like only she could. This is truly a Christmas gem — nostalgic, magical, and absolutely worth revisiting every year. #EthelMerman #RankinBass #RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer #ChristmasInJuly #StopMotionAnimation #HolidaySpecial #ClassicVoices #ChristmasNostalgia #VoiceTeacher #VocalCoach #SingersOfInstagram #HolidayMusic #MusicalIcons #MrBrownVoiceTeacher
