David Rich

David discovered at the early age of twelve that his passion for Electronic Music would inspire him to learn the art of DJing. Following such artists as The Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method and Prodigy, he found the Break Beat culture was most influential. Attracted to the sound and mixing techniques of those who influenced him, David understood what work lie ahead. Playing on friends turntables in dark basements, David studied his peers and quickly mastered the art of mixing. Weekends were spent mixing any records he could get his hands on, learning different methods and developing his own style. Returning to Cincinnati in 2009, David knew there was no time to waste and began to hone his skills while producing on the side. Taking himself on the road and traveling all over the Midwest for the past 7 years, he has had the honor of playing along side such notable artists as Plump DJ's, Reid Speed, HULK, Curtis B, Animal Crackers and Sneaker and the Dryer. If it's dirty Electro bass lines and hard hitting breaks you seek, his music selection and flawless mixing abilities will leave you asking; so when do you play next?
