Web Hosting, Web Design, ISP related features and functions. We at Inexistence.org strive to make your projects become exactly what you envision.
Inexistence.org was founded on April 16 2002, by two men who were tired of letting other people and companies control their voices and content. We have spent a lot of time making the server a enjoyable and powerful experience for all of our users and friends. We believe in standard compliancy and WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get). Every site we manage we attempt to assist the maintainers on using the best coding practices. At times we will even do maintenance coding and audits for free or a very reduced cost. Thanks to our dedicated adminstration and development teams we usually have an exceptional uptime. Our standard response rate for client issues is also less than 24 hours. Our server is on a dedicated business class connection and happens to be in our main administrator’s house so hands on repair is never an issue.
Drive replacement completed, RAID1 rebuilt, all services are back up and running.
Server will be going down at some point as 1&1 replaces a drive for us. We apologize for the downtime and hopefully it will be short. Thank you for your understanding.
Server is currently down due to a hard drive failure. We are currently correcting the issue.
Debian 8.0 is officially installed as of now. Lots of changes to come as it adds a bunch of new features!
We will be rolling to the new Debian 8.0 release shortly (on les) please excuse any issues that crop up as we work.
Distro Upgrade complete, all main services are up and running. We will be doing more work later on as well. More info will be posted as we go. Main admin is tired and wants to go to bed now. Wish him pleasant dreams!
We are currently doing a distro upgrade, please excuse the dust while it is underway. If your site goes down or one of our services stops working trust that we are working on it and operations will resume as soon as possible.
We are currently in the process of doing a huge data migration to our new server.
To all our users:
Expect a phone call or email in the coming days/weeks from us as we need to discuss the migration and what to expect in the future.
(It is looking bright!)
Power Outage followed by backbone outage today. Services have been restored... We will be taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again as soon as we can. Over the coming month we will be transitioning to a co-location type service providing more internet connection backbones and power recovery options (generators / battery backups).

In case anyone has read this report and might be concerned, we did an internal audit on the possible files and they are clean.
Linux/Cdorked.A malware: Lighttpd and nginx web servers also affected - We Live Security Our investigation around Linux/Cdorked.A continues. Since our initial post about this sophisticated and stealthy backdoor designed to drive traffic to malicious websites, we have made further significant discoveries:
