What started as one mom's fear, "What will happen to my children when I'm gone?", became a movement serving 500+ Northeast Ohio families and growing.
Integrated Community Solutions supports individuals with disabilities through free, inclusive programming and is developing an innovative residential community that includes home ownership, where people can belong, build friendships, and thrive. Lisa Morrison, psychology professor and mother of three adults with autism, refused to wait for solutions that never came. For over four years, she's built a thriving community through free weekly programs: art groups, game nights, yoga, basketball, and volunteer opportunities where adults with developmental disabilities form real friendships and experience genuine inclusion. In Ohio, 267,875 people live with developmental disabilities. 25% still live with aging caregivers over 60. These families face isolation, limited options, and constant worry about the future. Traditional systems fail them. Lisa decided to build something different. This isn't just programming, it's proof that inclusion works when you create space for it. Every week, adults with DD and their families find community, dignity, and belonging. No institution. No isolation. Just real connection. From "What will happen to them?" to "You're not alone. We're building this together."

🏃🏽♀️🏃🏾♂️💚 Running, Friendship & SO MUCH JOY! 💚🏃🏻♀️🏃🏿♂️What a summer it has been for our ICS Running Group! 🎉☀️
This summer, our amazing runners joined friends and hit the pavement many runs, including the City of Wadsworth - City Hall Matchstick 5K and the City of Akron, OH Road Rokr 5K. We could not be more proud of this incredible group! Their determination, courage, perseverance and heart inspire us every step of the way. ❤️🙌
And a HUGE thank you to our wonderful Special Olympics Ohio - Medina County Track Coaches, Andy Sharp and Kelle Delores Sorber ! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏽♂️💚 Your encouragement, support and care mean so much to our runners. We truly could not do this without you!
✨ Inclusive opportunities like these matter. They create opportunities for friendship, belonging, confidence and accomplishment. They remind us that everyone deserves the chance to participate, challenge themselves, celebrate their achievements and simply have FUN! 🎉🥳

💚 ICS RUNNERS ARE AMAZING! 💛 Our ICS 5K Running Team got together with friends and took on the Hornet Dash 5K at Highland Local School District! 🐝 It's not an easy course, but our runners powered through with the grit and determination they're known for. 💪 They encouraged one another, kept moving, and never gave up. ❤️
We are so proud of every one of them! Great things are possible when we support one another. 💚💛

🥪❤️ Giving Back Our ICS crew teamed up with friends this week for a sandwich making session with a purpose. Every sandwich we made was headed to someone in our community who could use a little extra help. 💚
We love working together towards a shared goal. Conversations flow, hands stayed busy, and lots of smiles filled the room as our participants came together to make a difference for their neighbors.
Our ICS participants have so much to give, and we love creating opportunities for them to share their time, talents, kindness, and compassion with others. 🤝
A huge thank you to Buehler's for opening up their space and helping make this meaningful experience possible. We are so grateful for community partners who believe in the power of inclusion and giving back.
Together, we are building community, one sandwich and one connection at a time. ❤️
