NOACA
NOACA is the Metropolitan Planning Organization for Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina Counties NOACA is planning for the region’s transportation future.
In June 2017, the agency’s Board of Directors approved the Long-Range Transportation Plan for Northeast Ohio called “AIM Forward 2040.”
The plan presents a vision of the region's transportation system 20 years into the future and identifies $15.8 billion in projects. In addition, the plan assesses congestion, freight movement, safety and more. It also outlines strategies for addressing these issues in the future. The plan invests more than 90 percent of the $15.8 billion in funding for maintenance and community livability projects, and emphasizes multimodal alternatives for commuters.

Don't let a familiar route put you on autopilot. Being a safe pedestrian means staying aware of traffic, using crosswalks when possible and keeping your eyes up.
