Outback Sky

I can’t believe this was the last weekend of September, time is flying so fast! I’m glad I got to spend it doing shows for awesome people! 🐍🍁

It’s finally autumn and the weather is changing! This weekend might be the last time I do outdoor shows this year before it gets too cold! 🐍🍁

This little guy here is an American toad! I’m sure many of you have seen these amphibians hopping around lately with all this rain! One “fact” about toads that almost everyone was told as a kid is that these guys could give you warts!!! Unfortunately this misinformation has cast a stereotype over these little guys, framing them as “yucky” creatures. Toads cannot give you warts!! Their bumpy skin is for camouflage and defense against predators. Toads actually eat hundreds of bugs a day, so they’re the perfect animal to have in your garden or around your house! 🐸☔️

Snakes are such amazing creatures, I love being able to talk about them at shows! You’d be surprised how many people end up touching or even holding a snake and telling me they liked it after telling me they’re too afraid to be near them! 🐍

It was a great week of shows! 🐍

Animals are always the perfect party guests! 🐍

I did a back to school event on Friday for Grace Church, Medina East Campus and the show was such a blast! All of the kids were so amazing and had great questions about each animal! It’s crazy how summer is gone and school is already back in session! 🐍✏️

No matter how old you are, animals are always fun to learn about! 🐍
