This weekend is one of my favorites......Chalktoberfest on the Marietta Square! I'll be there with all the funky jewelry vibes! Vintage tin, beaded fringe, Boho Bangles, feathers earrings--the gang's all ready to go! Catch me in my usual spot on East Park Square!

I normally post up pics of every flat surface in my home being COVERED with work. I took yesterday as an absolutely necessary reset day, and spent the day getting my house back in order. It feels SO GOOD to have everything cozy and organized again and to say that every table is clear. If you swipe to the end, you'll see the monstrosity that is my studio room. I've been in the process of getting my studio moved into a bedroom instead of a separate outdoor workshop area so it's easier for me to access since I am often up and working before 5am. Today's goal is to get what's already in there organized so I can start moving the rest of the stuff that's still in the other studio moved in. I didn't realize how burnt out I have been feeling until I took the day off and started to organize the chaos. I'm still feeling bad/guilty/stupid/like I made the wrong decision/etc. for backing out of a show this weekend. Hopefully in a few days I will be able to shake the feeling and move on. Anyhow, wishing you all a wonderful Monday and week ahead! I know a lot of people don't like Mondays, but it's my favorite day of the week--a new opportunity for a fresh start! 💛💛💛

One more update for this weekend.....Sadly, I will NOT be at The Cotton Fair this weekend. This decision has caused me a lot of stress this week. I have never backed out of a show, for weather or anything else. I believe in following through with your commitments, even when it's hard. That being said, my mom and one of her friends were going to run the booth for me at The Cotton Fair this weekend, while I run the booth in Norcross. With the weekend looking so rainy, I just don't feel good about having them sit out in that kind of weather all weekend. Not only is it no fun to sit in a tent while it rains all day, it can also be crazy stressful trying to keep everything dry. I don't want to do that to people who were signed up to do this huge favor for me for no reason other than to be kind. I hope you can all understand this and accept my sincere apologies for the change in plans. I WILL be at the Norcross Art Festival on Saturday from 10:00-6:00.

Update for this weekend! The Norcross Art Festival is now a one day show--Saturday only. The organizers made the decision to cut Sunday out based on all the rain that will be moving in. I am grateful for organizers that make these tough decisions to keep us and our artwork safe! It's no fun sitting in a tent all day, trying to keep things dry, and worrying that your work will be ruined. I hope to see y'all on Saturday in Thrasher Park from 10:00-6:00!
