Welcome to the OEP Board, Jing Lyon! 🎉

Jing serves as Executive Director of the Ohio Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Coalition, where she's focused on strengthening Ohio's role as a leader in the hydrogen and fuel cell economy. Before that, she was Interim CEO and Managing Director of BRITE Energy Innovators, helping clean energy startups across Northeast Ohio grow and connect with the resources they need to succeed.

Jing holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, and she's also an Adjunct Instructor at CWRU's Weatherhead School of Management.

Her deep expertise in clean energy and belief in Ohio's potential make her a fantastic addition to our board. Welcome, Jing!

Scott is the founder of Blake Wealth Partners, where he helps individuals, families, and businesses build plans to achieve their biggest financial goals — from retirement and education funding to business planning and legacy building.

He's been named a Forbes Best-in-State Top Financial Security Professional two years running and is one of just four advisors nationally to receive NAIFA's 4 Under 40 Award.

We're excited to announce the launch of our new Solar Design Challenge Pilot, and it wouldn't be possible without the generous support of Madison Energy Infrastructure.

Thanks to their investment, Ohio students will have the opportunity to explore renewable energy through hands-on STEM learning—designing, building, and testing solar-powered circuits while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and engineering skills.

Partnerships like this help inspire the next generation of innovators and energy leaders. Thank you, Madison Energy Infrastructure, for helping us bring engaging, real-world energy education into Ohio classrooms!

⚡ Learning never stops at the Ohio Energy Project!

This week, we welcomed an incredible group of educators for our e3 Smart Teacher Training in partnership with AEP Ohio. Teachers spent the day exploring the e3 Smart curriculum, collaborating with fellow educators, and preparing to bring engaging energy efficiency and energy education lessons into their classrooms this school year.

We're grateful for the dedicated teachers who continue investing in their students and helping the next generation better understand energy and the impact of everyday energy choices.

A big thank you to AEP Ohio for supporting this program and making these learning opportunities possible. We can't wait to see these lessons come to life in classrooms across Ohio! 💡📚
