🚨 “Just because something is common doesn’t mean it should be ignored. Chronic acid reflux can lead to long-term damage.” — Stephanie Dunkle-Blatter, MD, OhioHealth surgeon and reflux specialist.
Frequent heartburn could be a sign of something more serious, like GERD, a hiatal hernia or esophageal cancer. It might be time to talk to your healthcare provider if you:

Collagen is the body’s most abundant protein, providing structural support and protecting the skin barrier. You can support its natural benefits in several ways:
🥦 Many foods help the body produce collagen. Lean protein, soy, beans, flaxseeds and fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C all support collagen production. Vitamin C helps produce collagen, while vitamin A stimulates collagen renewal.
💊 Hydrolyzed collagen supplements may help support skin and joint health. Research on these supplements is ongoing. To learn more about the benefits of collagen and how to support it, click here: https://ohlth.co/3R3v19K

At 32 years old, Buzzy Biddinger's life changed with three words: "You have cancer."
She faced the hardest chapter of her life when she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, but she did it with the same determination that carried her through every dance routine she’d ever learned. She never asked, "Why me?" Instead, she approached treatment with one mindset: it’s go time.
Before starting chemotherapy, she traveled to the Outer Banks with her family, where she chose to shave her head while standing at the edge of the ocean.
"It was beautiful, gut wrenching, liberating and everything in between. That was the one thing I could control. If I was going to lose my beautiful hair, it was going to be on my terms."
Throughout treatment, it was the people and passions in Buzzy's life that carried her through. Her mom was her rock, her dog and ducks brought comfort and teaching dance gave her purpose and joy. Her OhioHealth cancer team also became family; infusion appointments turned into "yap time" with the nurses who helped her through every step of treatment.
She refused to let cancer define her.
"Cancer isn't cute, but I am. And it certainly wasn't going to take that from me."
Today, Buzzy is a breast cancer survivor who has transformed her experience into purpose. She now works in cancer research, sharing her story, advocating for others and helping bring hope to people just beginning their own journey.
"I'm here. And I plan to stay."
