Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, wherever this may find you! ☕🍂🧡🤎

Wishing each and every one of you a safe, beautiful, and peaceful Saturday!

Looks like Mother Nature has a few plans of her own today, but that doesn't mean we can't make the best of it! 🌧️🤠

I'll be at Hometown Goods Local Market in Downtown Conway starting at 10 a.m. until the weather tells us it's time to call it a day!

Now, here's a little something on my heart this morning.

Sometimes the most beautiful things in life are the simplest. A warm cup of coffee, a roof over our heads, a familiar voice, a kind gesture, or someone taking a moment out of their day to make ours a little brighter.

If you don't need to be out in this weather, enjoy the comfort of home. If you absolutely have somewhere to be, please be careful, take your time, and keep things as simple as possible. Nothing is more important than getting home safely.

And here's something I think we could all practice a little more. When someone does something kind for you, no matter how small, acknowledge it. Say thank you. Let people know they're appreciated. Those two little words can carry more love than we sometimes realize. ❤️

And while we're talking about appreciation, here's another little thought. Sometimes no response is a response, too. Not every silence needs to be filled, not every unanswered gesture needs an explanation, and not every situation deserves more of your energy. Learn to recognize where your kindness is appreciated, where your presence is valued, and where your energy can do the most good. You can wish people well, give them grace, and still choose to put your energy where it belongs. That's not negativity. That's simply making room for more peace and positivity in your life. 🧡

Be thankful for the little things, grateful for the people who show up for you, and especially grateful for the family and loved ones who make your world a little warmer. Family isn't always about who shares our blood. Sometimes it's about who shares our hearts.

We don't need a perfect day to find something beautiful in it. Sometimes all we need is a little gratitude, a little kindness, and a whole lot of love.

So wherever this Saturday finds you, I hope you find a reason to smile, something to be thankful for, and a moment to appreciate the people who make your life special.

Stay safe. Stay thankful. Stay grateful. Protect your peace, appreciate your people, and remember, even on the rainiest days, we can still be the light. 🧡🤎

Love, light, and a little cowboy coffee,
Carl Ray 🤠☕

Happy Friday night, y’all! 🤠🧡🤎

Tomorrow I'll be at Hometown Goods Local Market in beautiful Downtown Conway starting at 10 AM, and we'll be there as long as Mother Nature cooperates! 🌧️🍂

Come on in, shop local, discover some wonderful treasures, and support the talented folks who put so much love into what they do. And if you're just stopping by to say hello, share a smile, or have a little conversation, you're always welcome!

As another week comes to a close, I'm reminded how much I appreciate genuine kindness, good conversations, and the little things that make life beautiful. Not every day is sunshine and rainbows, but there's always something worth smiling about. And sometimes a little grace, a little patience, and a good sense of humor can go a long way. ❤️

Now, enough of my rambling! 😂 I hope you're having a beautiful Friday evening. I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and enjoying another day in our wonderful community.

Come see me tomorrow! And remember, shopping local means supporting someone's dream. 🤠

Love, light, and good energy, always! 🧡🤎

🍽️🤠 WHO SAYS YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SUNDAY FOR A BLUE PLATE SPECIAL?

Sometimes, you just have to make your own blue plate special! ❤️

Josh came home after a very long shift today, tired and ready for a little comfort. And even though it's Friday, he was in the mood for a Sunday kind of feeling. You know, that Sunday kind of love where the house smells like a home cooked meal, the world slows down a little, and everything just feels right.

He wanted pot roast, and that's exactly what we're having!

A tender pot roast with baby Yukon Gold potatoes, green beans, carrots, celery, onion, and three little dinner rolls. Nothing fancy, just a good old fashioned plate of comfort and love.

And since I'm watching a few calories, just in case I decide to have myself a little snack tomorrow, I'm finishing the evening with one Werther's Original Sugar Free Caramel Apple candy. 🍏🍬 A little something sweet and a little taste of fall!

But sitting here looking at this plate took me somewhere else.

Growing up, we had Shoney's, and we also had this little place called the Canteen. Lord, I used to LOVE their pot roast. Then there was K&W. Those were the kinds of places where you could sit down to a good plate of food and somehow it felt like home.

Last winter, Josh and I did a few Blue Plate Special episodes for Frequency Through Food, and now that we're getting back into that time of year, I'm ready for those warm plates of food again.

I also spent many years waiting tables in different restaurants, including Shoney's, so meals like this bring back another whole set of memories. The regulars, the conversations, the coffee, the sound of plates coming out of the kitchen, and those people you got to know just from seeing them week after week.

And THAT is where Frequency Through Food really comes from. ❤️

It's not just about whether something tastes good. It's about that moment when you take a bite, smell something cooking, or see a plate sitting in front of you and suddenly you're somewhere else.

Sometimes food takes you back 30 or 40 years in a matter of seconds.

Sometimes a pot roast isn't just a pot roast. It's the Canteen. It's Shoney's. It's K&W. It's Sunday dinner. It's somebody you haven't thought about in years. It's a memory you didn't even realize you still had.

That's the frequency.

So here's to Friday nights that feel like Sundays, tired husbands coming home to a warm meal, and the return of some good old fashioned Blue Plate Specials. 🤠❤️

Now tell me yours. What restaurant, diner, cafeteria, or little hometown place from years ago could you walk back into tomorrow if you had the chance? And what would you order?

🌭🤠 SOMETIMES I JUST GET LOST IN THE SAUCE! (Hot dog sauce, of course!) 😂

Now, y'all, let me explain something!

Sometimes I'm scrolling along, minding my own business, and suddenly I see something somebody posted two or three days ago! And I'm sitting there thinking, "Well, how in the world did I miss THAT?" 😂

I genuinely try my best to spread a little love wherever I go, whether it's leaving a heart, dropping a comment, or just acknowledging something you've shared.

But every now and then, I just get lost in the sauce! Between hot dogs, everyday life, and whatever little adventure I've wandered into, things sometimes slip right past me.

So please know that I love and appreciate every one of you, and I'd never intentionally ignore anyone. ❤️

If there's ever something you need me to see right away, don't hesitate to message me here or over on Instagram!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to scrolling through three days' worth of posts while trying to remember what I was looking for in the first place! 😂🌭

Love, light, and a little extra sauce! 🤠❤️

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, whenever this may find you! 🤠✨

Last night, I traded in my cowboy hat for a wizard hat, and what an incredible, magical evening we had in beautiful Downtown Conway, South Carolina! The streets were filled with laughter, familiar faces, new friendships, and a little bit of magic around every corner.

But somewhere between the cowboy boots and the wizard wand, a little thought crossed my mind that I wanted to share with you today.

Sometimes in life, you have to be willing to change your hat without changing who you are underneath it.

You see, life is full of different hats. Some we wear because we choose to, some because life hands them to us, and others because we've simply outgrown the ones we used to wear.

And that's perfectly okay.

You can step into a new chapter, explore a different side of yourself, make new choices, chase new dreams, and still remain true to the beautiful soul you've always been.

Not everyone will understand your changes. Some people will always remember you by the hat you used to wear. But here's the beautiful thing about growing: You don't have to remain who someone else remembers you being.

A new era doesn't mean the old you wasn't good enough. It simply means there's more of you waiting to be discovered.

So wear the cowboy hat. Put on the wizard hat. Try something new. Reinvent yourself at 25, 45, 55, or 85. Laugh a little louder. Love a little deeper. And never be afraid to surprise yourself.

Because the real magic was never in the hat to begin with.

It was always in YOU. ✨

And remember, every new day is another opportunity to cast a little more light into this world.

Thank you, Conway Downtown Alive , for another beautiful evening and for reminding me just how magical our little community can be.

And speaking of community, I want to invite each and every one of you to be a part of this beautiful journey. Whether we've known each other for years, just met last night, or haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, there's always room for another smiling face at the table.

Come say hello when you see me around town. Stop in, introduce yourself, share your story, tell me about your favorite little local spot, or simply bring a smile. Let's continue showing up for one another, supporting our local businesses, celebrating our neighbors, and making sure nobody feels like a stranger in their own community.

Because to me, community isn't about how many people know your name. It's about how many people you can make feel welcomed, appreciated, and seen.

And if we can each do a little more of that, just imagine the kind of magic we can create together, right here in our own backyard.

Now, if you'll excuse me, this wizard has a cowboy hat to put back on. We've got more adventures ahead! 🤠🪄

Sending you all a little love, light, and good frequency today.

Carl Ray ❤️

🥐THE GREAT S'MORES CROISSANT MISSION OF 2026! 🥐🔥🤠

Some things in life are worth making a plan for, and apparently, a s'mores croissant is one of them! And honey, this was a mission we took VERY seriously! 😂

As most of you who have been following Josh and me know, I've been in love with Levé since they first opened their doors. We were among their very first customers, and I've been a fan ever since! And if there's one thing I've learned, when Levé creates something special, you better pay attention!

Well, the day before Witches, Wizards & W**e in City of Halloween, SC , I found out Levé would be popping up at A Coffee Movement with their torched s'mores croissants. And honey, I knew right then and there I HAD to have one!

So naturally, I told Ayme, and that's when Operation Croissant officially began! We had a plan, a mission, and a very important deadline. There was no room for error when chocolate and marshmallows were involved! 😂

At 5 p.m. sharp, while I held down the fort at Hometown Goods Local Market,
sipping my fresh fountain drink of Coke Zero that Ayme procured. Next, Ayme braved the streets filled with witches, wizards, ghosts, and goblins to secure our sweet treats!

And wouldn't you know it? Our planning paid off! We got the FIRST TWO of the evening! One for Ayme, one for me, and two very happy people! 🥐

Now, let me tell you something. That croissant was absolutely heavenly! The flaky pastry, the chocolate, the marshmallow, that beautiful toasted finish. Every single bite was worth the anticipation! I'm pretty sure I had a spiritual experience somewhere between the first and second bite! 😂

✨️✨️10 out of 10 FOOD FREQUENCY!✨️✨️ ❤️

And you know what made it even sweeter? Sitting there with a friend, each enjoying our own little piece of heaven, right in the middle of such a magical evening in Downtown Conway.

Sometimes frequency through food isn't just about what you're eating. It's about the memories, the laughter, the people, and those spontaneous little adventures that turn an ordinary moment into something worth remembering.

A huge thank you to Levé for another delicious creation, A Coffee Movement for hosting, Conway Downtown Alive for bringing our beautiful downtown to life, and of course, Ayme for successfully completing Operation Croissant without being captured by a witch! 😂

Now I'm just wondering what delicious little adventure we're going to find ourselves in next! Because apparently, we're the kind of people who will develop an entire strategic plan over a pastry, and I'm perfectly fine with that! 🤠❤️

And one last thing. A special thank you to Chef Geoff Blount. Your talent, passion, and creativity are truly something special. Congratulations on your big win! It makes my heart happy to see good things happen to good people. I appreciate you, the kindness you've always shown me, and everything you continue to do for our community. You've brought so much more than wonderful food to Conway. You've given us something to look forward to, something to talk about, and memories that stay with us long after the last bite. Thank you for all you do for everyone, including me. Keep shining and keep rising! ❤️
