One big remodel—or several smaller phases? The answer depends on more than the upfront investment.
Spaces that share plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, or structural work may be easier to coordinate in one project. Phasing can make the initial investment more manageable, but repeated setup, permitting, and construction cycles can increase the total cost and extend the disruption.
The smartest first step is to plan the whole home—even if you build it in stages.

- Job costing and WIP reporting

- Building dependable office systems
- Taking ownership without constant direction
This is a full-time, fully in-office position with compensation of $29–$36/hour, profit sharing, insurance benefits, paid time off, a 401(k) with employer contributions, and continued professional development.

Today, we’re grateful for the skilled hands, thoughtful planning, and shared commitment that turn houses into homes that serve people well. We hope you enjoy a restful day with family, friends, and the community we’re proud to call home.
For Effie Spentzos, the Riverside Remodel was about making important everyday spaces feel more comfortable, useful, and connected to the way she lives.
This Albany kitchen and bathroom remodel touched the rooms that shape so much of daily life: where meals are prepared, where routines begin and end, and where thoughtful details can make a home feel easier to enjoy.
The finished spaces feel calm and personal, but the work behind them involved much more than selecting finishes. Layout, lighting, storage, plumbing, material choices, and construction sequencing all had to come together with care.
For homeowners in Albany, Corvallis, Philomath, and the Mid-Willamette Valley, Effie’s project is a good reminder that a well-planned kitchen and bathroom remodel should support both daily function and long-term comfort.
