Chelsie Slama Creative

Roman Candy is a true New Orleans staple with over 100 years of history. To celebrate their centennial anniversary, they launched Roman Candy Rum and invited us to be part of the creative process.

The project began with photographing their iconic mule-drawn cart—except there was one small challenge: they didn’t have a mule at the time. Chelsie ventured into the heart of New Orleans, capturing and composing images of other mule-drawn carriages to faithfully recreate the beloved cart in a way that felt authentic and true to the brand’s legacy.

Logo work stayed faithful to the original typography that has adorned the Roman Candy cart for decades. The final deliverables included a suite of print and digital collateral: sell sheets, informational inserts, product boxes, business cards, and web graphics—all crafted to honor the brand’s heritage while promoting the new product line.

Our friends only had an old JPEG of their logo and needed some help digitizing it for an upcoming fundraiser event.

Happy Monday, just sharing another company's brand guide that we created from the ground up.

Here is one of our favorite rebranding projects we did for a local sport social club. We will be sharing a few more of these soon!

For more than 16 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients throughout the Gulf Coast, creating design solutions that help businesses connect with their audiences. My work includes branding, marketing materials, custom graphics, and both print and digital design.
