We have TWO sweet male English Bulldogs coming into our rescue, and they are in need of foster homes! 🐶🐶

✨ They do NOT have to be fostered together.
✨ They are fully vetted and simply need a safe, loving place to stay until they find their forever families.
✨ They are good with other animals, making them great candidates for many foster homes.

Of course, if you’re looking to add a bulldog to your family, adoption applications are welcome too! 🏡❤️

🐾 Nugget Update! 🐾

We wanted to give everyone a little update on our handsome boy, Nugget! ❤️

After spending more time evaluating him and doing additional dog introductions, we’ve learned that Nugget may be more selective rather than needing to be an only dog.

Initially, the two dogs he did not get along with were both males around his same size—one intact and one neutered. Since then, we’ve had him around several other dogs, including:
🐶 Small female dogs
🐶 Small neutered male dogs
🐶 Female dogs his size
🐶 Young puppies

And guess what? He’s done great! 🎉 He’s been friendly, playful, and has even been throwing out play bows trying to make new friends. 💕

Because of this, we’re no longer saying he absolutely must be an only dog. Instead, we think he’s likely just selective about certain dogs, which is actually pretty common.

If you’ve been interested in Nugget but already have pets at home, don’t count yourself out! We’d be happy to set up a meet-and-greet so everyone can get acquainted and see if it’s a good fit. 🐾

Our sweet little Mr. Tater has unexpectedly found his way back to Heart of a Bully Rescue and is in need of a place to land ASAP. 💜

Mr. Tater is a tiny English Bulldog with a huge heart. He was one of the three bulldogs who came into rescue back in January in very rough condition, and wow… has this little guy come a long way! 🌟

🐾 Sweet and affectionate
🐾 Good with other dogs

🐾 Loves consistency and routine
🐾 Does best with frequent potty breaks and a structured schedule

This is a bit of an urgent situation, and we’d love to get Mr. Tater settled into either a foster home or, even better, his forever home as quickly as possible. ❤️

If you’re looking for a best friend with a goofy personality and a heart of gold, Nugget might just be your perfect match! 🥰

At 5 years old, Nugget is the perfect mix of playful and easygoing. This sweet boy is all about the simple things in life—🍖 tasty treats, 🍽️ good meals, and most importantly… 🍑 BUTT RUBS! Nugget absolutely loves spending time with his people and is happiest when he’s hanging out by your side.

Nugget is currently healing from an ear infection and does have some seasonal allergies 🌼, but otherwise he’s a healthy, happy guy! He’s:
✅ Neutered
✅ Microchipped
✅ Up-to-date on vaccines
✅ Heartworm negative
✅ Intestinal parasite negative
✅ Ready to find his forever family

The only thing Nugget asks is that he be your one and only canine companion 🏡🐶❤️. He prefers not to share his home with other dogs and would thrive as the center of your world.

Nugget’s story is a bittersweet one. He came to rescue when his beloved dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and could no longer care for him. 💔 Through no fault of his own, Nugget found himself searching for a new place to call home.

Now, this lovable boy is hoping for a second chance, a family who will love him as much as he’ll love them. 🥹❤️

🌧️🐾 And last but certainly not least… meet Hefty Lou! 🩷🐾

This tiny little girl has already overcome more in her short life than most ever should. 💔

Hefty Lou was found during a rainstorm, abandoned on the side of the road inside a trash bag. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan spotted her, scooped her up, and got her to safety. ❤️

Since coming into rescue, we’ve been giving this sweet baby all the care she needs. She’s been treated for intestinal parasites, showered with love, and is growing stronger every day! 🥰

At just 6 weeks old, Hefty Lou has already received her first round of vaccines and is busy learning that people can be kind and that life doesn’t have to be scary. 🌈✨

We’ve had her for about two weeks now, and watching her personality blossom has been absolutely amazing. She’s playful, adorable, and everything a puppy should be! 🐶💕

In a couple of weeks, Hefty Lou will be ready to start looking for her forever family! 🏡 However, because of her age, she will be available as a foster-to-adopt puppy.

What does that mean? 🤔

🐾 She can go home with her new family before she’s fully vetted.
🐾 Adoption paperwork will still be completed.
🐾 She will need to return for her remaining vaccine appointments and her spay surgery.
🐾 Once her spay is completed, her adoption will be finalized! 🎉

This helps ensure she receives all the veterinary care she needs while still allowing her to begin bonding with her forever family as early as possible. ❤️

We are so thankful that this little girl got a second chance, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. 🥹🐾

🐾💙 Meet Cooper! 💙🐾

This handsome boy is one of our newest additions to Heart of a Bully Rescue, and we are so excited to be part of his journey! 🥰

Cooper came from a situation where he needed a little extra TLC, some recovery time, and a chance to simply be loved. Thankfully, an amazing foster stepped up, took him in, got him safe, and started him on the road to recovery before reaching out to us to help with the next chapter of his story. ❤️

In just a couple of short weeks, Cooper has already transformed into a whole new dog! 🌟 He’s feeling better, gaining strength, and letting his sweet personality shine through more and more each day.

One thing is for sure—this boy LOVES his people! 🥹💕 Cooper is affectionate, loving, and would happily spend every minute soaking up attention and cuddles if you let him. He has so much love to give and deserves a family that will love him right back.

This Monday, Cooper is scheduled for his full medical workup and neuter, and we’ll continue getting him all fixed up and ready for the bright future he deserves. 🩺🐶

We can’t wait to watch his story unfold and see where his journey takes him. Stay tuned for updates on this sweet boy! 💙
