📖 WEDNESDAY AT Trinity Baptist Church! 🙌
What happens when compromise starts feeling normal?
What happens when we’re faithful at church—but worldly everywhere else?
What happens when we’re drifting spiritually…and don’t even realize it?
Join us Wednesday at either 11:00 AM or 7:00 PM as we continue our verse-by-verse study through the book of Hosea!
We’ll be looking at some powerful warnings from Hosea 7–8:
🔥 “Ephraim is a cake not turned.”
⚠️ “Gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.”
📖 “I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.”
There’s a message here for every Christian:
DON’T LET SIN BECOME NORMAL.
DON’T IGNORE THE SIGNS OF SPIRITUAL DRIFT.
DON’T LET GOD’S WORD BECOME STRANGE TO YOU.

What if you gained everything this world had to offer—but lost the one thing you could never replace?

📖 JOIN US THIS SUNDAY AT 1:00 PM!
We’re continuing our verse-by-verse journey through the Book of Proverbs, and this week we come to Proverbs 5—a chapter filled with practical wisdom about temptation, marriage, parenting, the choices we make, and the consequences that follow.
One of the great lessons of Proverbs 5 is simple:
⚠️ You don’t have to experience every consequence to believe God’s warning.
The world tells us to follow our feelings. God tells us to follow wisdom.
➡️ Where are your choices taking you?
➡️ Are you listening to godly instruction?
➡️ Are you protecting your marriage?
➡️ Are you putting distance between yourself and temptation?
➡️ Are you allowing the Bible—or the world—to guide your home?
Come open the Bible with us as we study Proverbs 5 verse by verse and see how God’s wisdom applies to everyday life.

🌊 Are you going through a storm right now?
Maybe it’s financial. Maybe it’s family. Maybe it’s uncertainty about what comes next.
Jesus asked His disciples a question that still speaks to us today:
📖 “Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” — Mark 4:40
This Sunday morning, we’ll continue our series QUESTIONS JESUS ASKED with a message from Mark 4:35–41:
🔥 WHY ARE YE SO FEARFUL?
The disciples thought the storm was their biggest problem—but they forgot WHO WAS IN THE SHIP!
Come be reminded that whatever storm is over your head is still under His authority.

📖 SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT Trinity Baptist Church! ⛪
What is shaping your heart right now?
What you watch. 👀
What you listen to. 👂
Who you spend time with. 👥
What you allow into your mind. 💭
Eventually, what gets into your heart will show up in the way you live.
This Sunday afternoon, we’re continuing our journey through Proverbs with Proverbs 4, including one of the most practical warnings in the entire Bible:
❤️ “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” — Proverbs 4:23
We’ll look at four areas every Christian needs to guard:
❤️ Your HEART — What are you allowing inside?
🗣️ Your MOUTH — What is coming out?
👀 Your EYES — What has your attention?
👣 Your FEET — Where is your life headed?
This is practical Bible preaching that applies to your walk with God, your marriage, your children, your friendships, and the decisions you make every day.
🍽️ Stay after our morning service for our fellowship meal!
🕐 Afternoon Service — 1:00 PM

Bring your Bible. Bring your family. Bring somebody with you.
Don’t just guard what you DO—guard what is shaping your HEART.
We would love to have you with us this Sunday! 🙌
📖 YOUR BIBLE IS INSPIRED. SCOFIELD’S NOTES ARE NOT.
One of the dangers of the Scofield Reference Bible is that a man’s commentary is printed right alongside the Word of God—and if we’re not careful, we can begin reading the Bible through Scofield’s notes instead of judging Scofield’s notes by the Bible.
The words of Scripture are God’s words.
The notes at the bottom of the page are a man’s words.
📖 “Every word of God is pure…” — Proverbs 30:5 KJV
You don’t need a man-made system telling you what the Bible MUST mean before you’ve even studied what the Bible actually SAYS.
🔎 Read the context.
📖 Compare Scripture with Scripture.
⛏️ Dig into the Word for yourself.
❓ Question what men have taught you.
✅ Let the BIBLE be the final authority.
Commentaries can be examined. Study notes can be examined. Preachers can be examined.
BUT THE WORD OF GOD IS THE STANDARD BY WHICH THEY ARE ALL EXAMINED!
🔥 Don’t let Scofield—or ANY man’s notes—become your final authority.
Take the notes away. Open the Bible. Read it. Study it. Believe it.
⛏️📖 THE WORD OF GOD IS A TREASURE FIELD—START DIGGING!
Some of the greatest treasures in the Bible aren’t found by casually reading a verse and moving on.
Sometimes you have to DIG.
Read the passage.
Read it again.
Compare Scripture with Scripture.
Look at the context.
Follow the words through the Bible.
Ask questions.
Study it until you understand what God is showing you.
📖 “I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.” — Psalm 119:162 KJV
You don’t walk into a field, scrape the surface for five minutes, and complain because you didn’t find treasure.
YOU KEEP DIGGING!
There are truths in the Word of God that you may have read over dozens of times—and then one day, because you slowed down and STUDIED it, you see something that was sitting there the entire time.
🔥 Your Bible isn’t a field that has been picked clean. There is still treasure to be found!
Don’t just READ your Bible.
⛏️ DIG INTO IT.
🔎 SEARCH IT.
📖 STUDY IT.
💎 FIND THE TREASURE.
The Word of God is worth the time it takes to dig!
📢 CRY LOUDER—NOT SOFTER!
When Christians aren’t reading their Bibles, the answer isn’t to lower the expectation.
When people aren’t praying, don’t stop preaching prayer.
When people aren’t soulwinning, don’t stop challenging them to go.
When people aren’t faithful, don’t redefine faithfulness to make everybody comfortable.
PREACH IT MORE. PREACH IT CLEARER. CRY LOUDER!
God told Isaiah:
📖 “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet…” — Isaiah 58:1 KJV
We have developed a Christianity where sometimes we’re afraid to expect anything from anybody. But preaching ought to challenge us to grow, not continually reassure us that doing less is acceptable.
A preacher shouldn’t lower the standard because people aren’t reaching it. He should keep opening the Bible, keep preaching the truth, and keep calling God’s people UPWARD.
🔥 Don’t make the preaching softer because the people have become comfortable.
There ought to be an EXPECTATION that Christians READ THEIR BIBLE!
