Sunday Funday was supposed to mean laying in bed, sleeping in, and doing absolutely nothing. 😂 But I decided to get up, head to the gym, and knock out a quick workout instead. 💪🏼✨ Starting my Sunday with a win! Now I can enjoy the rest of the day guilt-free. 🩷
10 lbs DOWN! 💪🏼🔥 And officially only 30 lbs away from my goal! 🎯
Still showing up. Still putting in the work. Still choosing me. 🖤 One workout, one day, and one pound at a time.

I’ve learned that forgiveness doesn’t mean giving someone access to you again. You can wish people well, heal, move forward, AND still remember exactly why the door was closed in the first place.

The older I get, the more I realize that not every friendship is meant to come with you through every chapter of life. ❤️
Some friends are lifelong. They’ve seen you at your best, your worst, and everywhere in between—and they love you through all of it.
Others are seasonal. They were meant for a certain chapter, and when that chapter ends, sometimes the friendship does too.
Some people will sit at your table, smile in your face, and talk about you the second they leave. Some will call themselves your friend but somehow never clap when you win. They’re there when you’re struggling, but when you start growing, succeeding, or becoming happier, suddenly their energy changes.
Then you have the real ones. The ones who speak highly of you when you’re not around. The ones who defend your name in rooms you’re not in. The ones who genuinely celebrate your wins without comparing them to their own. The ones who want to see you happy, loved, successful, and thriving.
I’ve learned that I don’t have to hate someone just because we’ve outgrown each other. I can appreciate the memories, be thankful for what that friendship taught me, and still recognize that they may not belong in the next chapter of my life.
Not everyone who had access to you in one season deserves access to you in every season.
So here’s to the lifelong friends—the ones who love loudly, clap proudly, and stay genuine. 🫶🏼❤️
