New research is challenging what we thought we knew about body contouring after major weight loss. Patients undergoing abdominoplasty after GLP-1–induced weight loss showed fewer complications and higher satisfaction compared with postbariatric patients, suggesting these newer medical weight loss pathways may carry distinct surgical advantages.
