Allen Larson's Project
Share
I play acoustic music, classic rock, folk, a bit of country and everything else, originals & covers, sung with passion and energy.
Original songs can be found on all the streaming services. Playing mostly in DFW area. 😃 Message me for bookings! I am a Dallas TX area musician who is primarily a solo performer who plays originals and covers. I have over 300 songs in my songbook. Please see sampler video of performances pinned to top of my home page here. I primarily play guitar but also play keyboards, bass and cajon and open to playing with others. I like to play songs I *feel*... people tell me how they like I sing with passion. Perhaps that sets me apart from others, and it is what drives my song choices, with my eclectic mix of styles and genres that I play. I don't want to simply be a human jukebox! With many people kidding me about the similarity of my name to that of a popular 70s-80s British band (Alan Parson's Project), I decided to run with it and call the page here Allen Larson's Project. I occasionally use the name in a booking, especially when others play with me. Otherwise I just use my name. :)

I've gone and hit bottom, notes that is, playing bass with some guys soon....
Here are two of the Grand Larsony songs from last nights' open mic with Damon on drums, John in guitar. Beast of Burden and Queen Jane Approximately. These impromptu unrehearsed performances are so much fun!
I replaced the first videos I put here after Damon sent me a higher quality video he took (thank you Damon!), on which I did a little tinkering (editing)!
