WHAT DOES NEW MEXICO LOOK LIKE TO YOU?
I need your help, New Mexico.
I'm working on a personal photography project and I'm looking for one image that instantly feels like New Mexico.
But I don't want the typical stuff we've all seen a million times. No chile ristras, turquoise doors, or postcard landscapes.
I'm looking for something ordinary, overlooked, or maybe even a little strange that, when you see it, you think:
“That's so New Mexico.”
Maybe it's a particular road, an old building, a tree, a fence, a piece of land, a view, or something you pass every day.
What place or thing comes to mind?
I'm looking for the real, everyday New Mexico—not necessarily the famous places.

The missing teeth, the silly smiles, the big personalities—these moments pass quickly.
Photograph them now. You'll never regret it.
People often see the finished product and think the magic happens in Photoshop.
But the real magic is her.
The smile, the twirl, the imagination, the confidence that starts to shine when she realizes this experience is all about her.
What begins with a simple backdrop?And a beautiful dress becomes artwork that tells a story.
The photographer sees the setup.
The child sees an adventure.
The final product captures the magic.
This is why I do what I do.
Because childhood deserves to be remembered as some more than a snapshot.
It deserves to be art.
