Please help us welcome the newest members to our fire family. Firefighter EMT Kaden Strickland ( A Shift), Firefighter Paramedic Dalton Lairmore (C Shift), Firefighter EMT Cash Rickman (B Shift), Firefighter EMT Austin Vandruff (C Shift), and Firefighter EMT Stephen Avila (A Shift). All 5 have completed their orientation and onboarding and have officially started their careers with Hutchins Fire Rescue!! Welcome aboard guys!!

The City of Hutchins will be conducting an Audible test of our Storm Warning Alert System today at 1:00 pm. This is only a test of the Storm Warning System.

Today, we are mourning the untimely loss of one of our own. Driver/Engineer, Ted Carpenter, passed away this morning, on his 48th birthday, after serving Dallas Fire Rescue and the City of Dallas since May 2002. 

Ted touched countless lives with his faith, resilience, and optimism, and his passing is a tragic loss for both his entire family....biological and departmental. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. RIP Brother......

FF Slimboski received his firefighter shield after the 100’ Aerial climb, and then performed a six story rescue scenario with Engineer Schoenfeld! Great job guys!!
