Limited registration is for owners who do not want to breed. I ask that you keep a watchful eye � on your puppy until he or she turns two years old before spay/neuter takes place. This is to allow the puppy to develop fully mentally and physically which help avoid aggression and illnesses like cancer or hip and elbow dysplasia. There is still no guarantee your puppy won’t get these things but waiting two years helps more than not. Full registration with breeding rights allows you to use your puppy for stud service or breeding. For males, I ask you wait until he is 18 months minimum and then start testing the semen levels before sticking him in a kennel or yard with some random female. And for the females, I ask you wait the full two years before breeding so she can develop and mature fully in order to handle a litter of puppies naturally and instinctively. This gives new owners plenty of time to find books and vets in reproductive programs so you can learn all you need to start successfully if you choose full registration. You need to learn about progesterone testing and what that means to your bitch.
