As a buyer’s agent, I’ve helped many families buy homes over the last almost five years. Every transaction has taught me something, but the biggest lesson has been this:

For me, this work has always been about more than real estate.

It’s about helping people put down roots, build stability, and create a place to call home.

For me, this is ministry.

When I work with a client, I’m thinking about the next 30 years for them. I think about how homeownership and the stability that comes with it will make them feel once the hustle of showings, inspections, walkthroughs, and closing is finally over.

I pray for my clients and over their homes, asking for peace, protection, and joy to fill every space they step into.

I think about how their children will feel on the first night they sleep in their new room.

Transactions alone don’t excite me. I’m passionate, and I feel deeply. What I once considered a weakness, I now know is my superpower.

I take my time reviewing comps because my recommended offers are often aggressive, and at all times, my clients’ best interests come first.

I listen fervently and intentionally because this isn’t about me.

I’m not the realtor for everyone, and that’s intentional.

But for the people I’m called to serve, I’ll show up fully, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

This one was a win all the way around. 🏡Negotiated $25,000 off the asking price.

Beyond securing the home, I was also able to negotiate several additional wins for my client throughout the process.

• Extermination completed before move-in [because no one wants surprise roommates]

Especially with new construction, details matter. A beautiful home is great, but making sure my client walks into closing with the strongest deal possible matters just as much to me.

Advocating for my clients will always be one of my favorite parts of this job.

These moments from our Christmas toy drive remind me why I love what I do. Real estate is more than contracts and closings. It’s about community. It’s about showing up. It’s about making sure families feel supported not just in December, but all year long.

As we head into Valentine’s Day, I’m grateful for the relationships, the trust, and the opportunity to serve. Moving forward, we’re focused on building more than homes. We’re building impact, access, and opportunity right here in our community.
